DIRECTORATE AIRLANGGA GLOBAL ENGAGEMENT (AGE)
Airlangga Global Engagement (AGE)is a bridge for both international and domestic institutions to establish a partnership with Universitas Airlanggga. The office has been managed by young, energetic and competent people since it was founded in 2010 as International Office and Partnership (IOP) 51¶¯Âþ. It was also the year when 51¶¯Âþ announced a 5-year plan to become one of the most prominent world-class universities.

Vision & Missions
To become an independent, innovative, leading university at the national and international levels, a pioneer in the development of science, technology, humanities and arts, based on religious morality.
- Organizing and developing academic, professional, and/or vocational education with world-class excellence based on national values and religious morals.
- Carrying out basic, applied, and innovative policy research with world-class excellence based on nationalism and religious moral values to support the development of education and to conduct community service.
- Devoting its expertise in the field of science, technology, and humanities to the society.
- Managing the university independently with good governance through institutional development oriented towards quality and ability to compete internationally.
Tasks and Objectives
Airlangga Global Engagement can offer powerful aids for the development of the university and for actualizing the goal of becoming a world-class university by mainly providing international and national academic mobility & overseeing and evaluating international and national partnerships and collaborations.
Generally, AGE hastwo main functions, namely:
- As an Entry Unit or the entrance for potential institutions which want to build international or domestic partnerships with 51¶¯Âþ, and to maintain the development of national and international networks.
- As a Connecting Unit between potential partners and all other related units or faculties within 51¶¯Âþ.
