UNAIR NEWS<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013\u00a0Be a leader who makes people happy.\u00a0<\/em>This statement was an important message from the Mayor of Surabaya, Eri Cahyadi when he opened the Transformational Leadership training.\u00a0The event was held with the Postgraduate School (SPS) UNAIR<\/a> on Tuesday, July 5, 2022.<\/p>\n\n

Being held in Airlangga Sharia and Entrepreneurship Education Center (ASEEC) Tower, Eri spoke in front of structural officials within the Surabaya City Government, from the heads of urban communities, sub-districts, divisions, offices, assistants, to regional secretaries.<\/p>\n\n

In his speech, Eri invited the training participants to work together to build the city of Surabaya. \u201cI believe that building an advanced city cannot be done by one person alone. Mutual cooperation and the presence of leaders who are able to provide solutions for the people are the keys,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n\n

The training aimed to improve the ability of structural officials.\u00a0The performance target is expected to be achieved with maxed\u00a0output\u00a0and\u00a0outcome\u00a0within Surabaya City Government.<\/p>\n\n

Eri also expressed his gratitude to SPS UNAIR for facilitating the training. He believes that the assistance of lecturers and professors at SPS UNAIR will improve the skills of Surabaya City Government officials.<\/p>\n\n

The Director of SPS UNAIR Prof. Badri Munir Sukoco in his speech said that the research conducted by SPS UNAIR related to good governance strategies cannot be achieved if the leaders in the city government are not on the same frequency with them.<\/p>\n\n

For this reason, the event was held to enrich\u00a0insight\u00a0and\u00a0onsight<\/em>\u00a0from the material provided by\u00a0SPS UNAIR\u00a0trainers\u00a0and\u00a0coaches.\u00a0<\/em>So that the training is able to encourage participants to improve themselves with the spirit promoted by Mayor of Surabaya, Surabaya to the next level.<\/p>\n\n

\u201cAfter this event, I hope that an advanced, humane, sustainable, and communal-supportive Surabaya will be realized in accordance with the big vision of the Mayor of Surabaya,\u201d he added. (*)<\/p>\n\n
