In that one year, the lecturer and the Head of the UNAIR Stem Cell Research and Development Center has four independent patents, one joint patent, one simple patent, and three independent copyrights.<\/p>\n\n<p>The lecturer from Jombang is known to have been researching stem cells since 2008.\u00a0\u201cI find it interesting, because it is a new technology from\u00a0biomedical\u00a0therapy\u00a0in the medical field, so the challenge is quite big to develop,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"617\" height=\"412\" src=\"http:\/\/210.57.208.200\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/purwati-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-143506\" srcset=\"https:\/\/unair.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/purwati-1.jpg 617w, https:\/\/unair.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/purwati-1-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 617px) 100vw, 617px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Proof of God\u2019s oneness<\/h5>\n\n<p>For Dr. Purwati, the concept of stem cells shows the oneness of Allah SWT, as everything starts from the One and the Beginning.\u00a0\u201cIf we pay attention, the highest stem cell hierarchy is\u00a0<em>totipotent<\/em>, proliferating and differentiating into its descendants.\u00a0In the end, it forms billions of cells in the form of tissues and organs in a whole body.\u00a0These stem cells have a special ability to renew or regenerate themselves (self regenerate) and reproduce according to their line,\u201d she explained.<\/p>\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Stem Cells in Indonesia<\/h5>\n\n<p>According to her, the quality of research development and implementation of stem cells in Indonesia is not less superior than the other countries\u2019. \u201cIn addition to being known through various international and national publications, it can also be known through the determination of IPR,\u201d she explained.<\/p>\n\n<p>The development of stem cells in Indonesia cannot be separated from the research and development centers that continue to carry out stem cell research and modifications and also seek to build networks with national and international institutions.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"682\" src=\"http:\/\/210.57.208.200\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/purwati-2-1024x682.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-143508\" srcset=\"https:\/\/unair.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/purwati-2-1024x682.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/unair.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/purwati-2-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/unair.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/purwati-2-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/unair.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/purwati-2.jpg 1280w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n<p>In the future, Doctor Purwati will continue research and development on innovation and utilization of stem cells.\u00a0\u201c\u00a0<em>InsyaAllah<\/em>,\u00a0we will combine\u00a0hybrid<em>\u00a0<\/em>engineering,\u00a0nanotechnology\u00a0and stem cells to become the\u00a0next generation of stem cells,\u201d she explained<\/p>\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Host in own land<\/h5>\n\n<p>Doctor Pur hopes that the research results, which have been recognized as intellectual property, will be able to provide the most benefit. \u201cHopefully, it can provide benefits in the world of health both for patients and doctors and health facilities that provide services, and Stem Cell services could be the hosts in our own land,\u201d she said.
