(Amir, 2014). Therefore, fishery products should get more attention in terms of food safety, as the society\u2019s attention to food safety is high. Pathogenic bacteria that often contaminate fishery products include E. coli and Salmonella which can cause Entero Phatogenic Eschericia Coli<em>\u00a0<\/em>(EPEC) with symptoms like cholera\u2019s and dysentery (Nastiti, 2006). <em>Salmonella\u00a0<\/em>can cause\u00a0<em>Salmonellosis\u00a0<\/em>with symptom like gastroenteritis, therefore research on identification of Escherichia coli and Salmonella on fishery products before being distributed through Juanda Airport is necessary to anticipate contamination to humans.<\/p>\n\n<p><em>Escherichia coli<\/em> is the most widely used bacteria as an indicator of sanitation because of these bacteria are commensal bacteria in the digestive and are pathogens (SNI). And, Salmonella is one of the bacteria that often cause serious illness when it contaminates food (SNI). Moreover, <em>Escherichia coli<\/em>\u00a0bacteria can also contaminate the equipment used during the production process, so contamination of E. coli bacteria in fishery products can occur due to poor sanitation (Nuraeni dkk, 2000).<\/p>\n\n<p>Fishery products can be contaminated with Salmonella bacteria by cross-contamination due to poor hygiene during processing. (Nugraha, dkk 2012). But the research results showed that bacteria contaminating the fishery product are not from <em>Escherichia coli\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0<em>Salmonella<\/em>. The contaminated fishery products will get a follow-up test as confirmation.
