Clinical Pathology Department of UNAIR Faculty of Medicine has held a community service for health workers throughout Bangkalan Regency.<\/p>\n\n<p>Being held in Ningrat Hotel Hall Bangkalan, August 3, 2022, the activity was themed: Infection Prevention and Control Education in Covid-19 Specimens Examination for Bangkalan District Health Workers. On that occasion, Chief Executive Yulia Nadar Indrasari dr SpPK explained that the activity aimed to improve health workers&#8217; skills in Bangkalan Regency.<\/p>\n\n<p>&#8220;Bangkalan Regency was picked for the community service because from the experience during the pandemic, Bangkalan was one of the areas with a fairly high number of cases,&#8221; she said.<\/p>\n\n<p>Furthermore, during the opening remarks, Head of Clinical Pathology Department, Dr Yetty Hernaningsih dr SpPK(K), said that the service is expected to provide many benefits, especially the provision and insight to keep anticipating the development of Covid in the future.<\/p>\n\n<p>&#8220;Although Covid has subsided, the material provided is still needed for further anticipation. Considering some areas also experienced an increase in the number of cases. (Photo: Imam Ariadi)<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n<p>On the same occasion, the Secretary of Bangkalan Regency Health Office, Indah Wahyuni SE MKes reported on the handling of Covid-19 in Bangkalan. According to her, her party continues to work together to prevent the spread of Covid cases. It also encourages vaccinations to be carried out optimally in Bangkalan community.<\/p>\n\n<p>&#8220;It&#8217;s all thanks to the hard work of health workers, we welcome this event positively because it can be a provision for health workers and the knowledge of health workers in the Bangkalan Regency in an effort to improve Covid-19 services,&#8221; she said.<\/p>\n\n<p>In the end, Dewi Puspitasari SSt,, who is a health worker at Banjar Health Center, responded well to the activity.
