{"id":212525,"date":"2023-06-19T13:05:56","date_gmt":"2023-06-19T06:05:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/unair.ac.id\/unair-students-win-two-medals-at-onmipa-itb\/"},"modified":"2023-07-20T09:49:20","modified_gmt":"2023-07-20T02:49:20","slug":"unair-students-win-two-medals-at-onmipa-itb","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/unair.ac.id\/en\/unair-students-win-two-medals-at-onmipa-itb\/","title":{"rendered":"UNAIR students win two medals at ONMIPA ITB"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>UNAIR NEWS<\/strong> \u2013 UNAIR students have made other brilliant achievements through Emilda Putri Aulia,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/unair.ac.id\/fkm-unair-dukung-percepatan-program-ktr-surabaya\/\">Faculty of Medicine (FK UNAIR)<\/a>\u00a0student and Sirojuddin Kholil Muhammad, Biomedical Engineering student,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/fst.unair.ac.id\/\">Faculty of Science and Technology (FST)<\/a>\u00a0in the 2023 National Mathematics and Natural Sciences Olympiad (ONMIPA) in Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) on June 17, 2023.<\/p>\n\n<p>They won a silver medal in Chemistry and a bronze medal in Biology. Achieving this was not easy for both of them. <\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-black-color has-text-color\"><strong>Thorough preparation<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n<p>Afri Andrianto, as the official during ONMIPA, said that UNAIR team had prepared thoroughly a year before for the competition to give the best to UNAIR. <\/p>\n\n<p>The UNAIR team underwent a long selection process until 12 best participants advanced to ONMIPA 2023. \u201cDuring the participant selection, we also provided guidance and\u00a0drilling\u00a0to the participants.\u00a0The goal is that they have what it takes to compete, \u201csaid Afri Andrianto.<\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-black-color has-text-color\"><strong>Afri Andrianto as a\u00a0support system<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n<p>The success of Emilda Putri Aulia and Sirojuddin Kholil Muhammad cannot be separated from the figure of Afri Andrianto. As a supervising staff, he also provides moral support for the participants to maintain their enthusiasm for the competition. <\/p>\n\n<p>In this competition, he also collaborated with other lecturers, including Ms. Dwi Ratri Mitha, to drill the team\u00a0during the preparation.\u00a0Afri did this to make UNAIR team have a winning spirit and never give up.<\/p>\n\n<p>\u201cHopefully, after this competition, UNAIR students will continue to make brilliant achievements and make their alma mater proud nationally.
