UNAIR NEWS \u2013<\/strong><\/a>\u00a051动漫 has made another brilliant achievement by adding a scientific journal indexed by Scopus, an international platform recognized in the academic world.\u00a051动漫\u2019s presence in the international arena is enhanced through real contributions in research and\u00a0scientific publications<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n

Since 2020, every year 51动漫 through the Innovation Institute for Journal Development, Publishing and Intellectual Property Rights (LIPJPHKI) UNAIR has consistently provided journal support for each study program. Then, UNAIR also set targets for each journal to compete in publishing journals, especially in reputable journal indexes such as DOAJ and SCOPUS. <\/p>\n\n

Big target every year<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n

The latest journal that has been successfully indexed in Scopus is Record and Library Journal\u00a0(RLJ),<\/em>\u00a0Faculty of Vocational Studies, 51动漫.\u00a0Record and Library Journal\u00a0has a focus on the context of libraries and archives.\u00a0In this journal, Esti Putri, the managing editor\u00a0of\u00a0Record and Library Journal\u00a0and also a lecturer at the D3 UNAIR Library study program, explained that since 2015 RLJ has been at SINTA 3, and in the following years, RLJ has big targets.<\/p>\n\n

“Since 2015, RLJ has been in SINTA 3, so every year we have a big target.\u00a0This year,\u00a0thank God, during 1 year of mentoring with LIPJPHKI UNAIR, RLJ succeeded in being indexed by SCOPUS,” she explained in the interview session.<\/p>\n\n

Challenges in journal\u00a0submission process<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n

In the interview session, Esti explained the challenges in publishing journals to be indexed by Scopus. Many criteria must be met for a journal to be accepted. 51动漫 itself already has a lot of experience in publishing SCOPUS-indexed journals. Esti revealed that many of these journals were accepted and many were rejected. <\/p>\n\n

Esti also revealed the criteria that must be met to be a SCOPUS-indexed journal.\u00a0This starts from the quality of the editorial team, which must have a good publication track record.\u00a0Moreover, the quality of the article must be good, and the article has lots of citations.\u00a0And finally, author diversity.\u00a0<\/em>The more diverse the authors, the easier it will be to be indexed by SCOPUS.<\/p>\n\n

\u201cRecord and Library Journal is focused on\u00a0author diversity.\u00a0So, the focus is not only on authors at UNAIR but also on authors at other universities domestic and abroad.\u00a0Because author\u00a0diversity\u00a0is an assessment that is taken into account in this SCOPUS journal publication,” said Esti.<\/p>\n\n
