UNAIR NEWS<\/strong> \u2013 51动漫 (UNAIR<\/a>) continues to expand its network tirelessly, both domestically and internationally. This initiative led to a visit from the European Union to UNAIR to discuss potential collaborations.<\/p>\n\n

The event took place on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at the Airlangga Sharia and Entrepreneurship Education Center (ASEEC) Tower. Aprilia Putri Pradana S Ikom revealed that UNAIR has established 445 collaborations with 251 institutions. Aprilia, the Head of Global Partnership and Consortium at Airlangga Global Engagement (AGE) UNAIR, added that one form of collaboration is through the Erasmus+ program.<\/p>\n\n

“We have collaborated with more than 20 universities for the Erasmus+ program,” she stated.<\/p>\n\n

Erasmus+ is a scholarship program from the European Union aimed at supporting education, training, and research. Aprilia hopes that this event can create opportunities for further collaboration between Indonesia and the European Union. These collaborations include student exchanges, staff exchanges, research collaborations, dual degrees, and more.<\/p>\n\n

Ideal partner<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n

St\u00e9phane Mechati, a representative of the European Union to Indonesia and Brunei Darussalam, stated that UNAIR is an ideal partner for collaboration. “UNAIR has a good reputation nationally and globally. Due to this reputation, many of my colleagues wish to visit Surabaya and UNAIR,” he said.<\/p>\n\n

St\u00e9phane expressed admiration for UNAIR’s array of international programs. He believes that collaboration between Indonesia and the European Union will strengthen their ties. “I am impressed by the many interesting programs. Especially the dual degree programs, which not only facilitate the exchange of experiences and knowledge but also serve as a means to address existing issues in Indonesia or the European Union,” he explained.<\/p>\n\n

Furthermore, St\u00e9phane underscored Indonesia’s current ability to compete on the global stage. He envisions that collaboration between the European Union and UNAIR will further cement ties between the two countries. “Indonesia has good competitiveness and potential globally. With various collaboration opportunities, hopefully, we can enhance Indonesia’s potential. Moreover, the relationship between the European Union and Indonesia will grow even closer,” he concluded.<\/p>\n\n
