The university\u2019s undergraduate and graduate Chemistry programs underwent a rigorous evaluation process to receive this prestigious recognition from a globally respected professional body.<\/p>\n\n<p>The Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) at UNAIR has once again achieved a remarkable milestone. Its Bachelor\u2019s and Master\u2019s programs in Chemistry have successfully obtained international accreditation from RSC, an esteemed global accreditation body for chemistry programs. The RSC accreditation process assesses 16 key criteria, including practical and transferable skills, research quality, professional competencies, and curriculum comprehensiveness.<\/p>\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Meeting global education standards<\/h5>\n\n<p>Achieving RSC accreditation serves as evidence that UNAIR\u2019s Department of Chemistry meets global academic standards, earning recognition from the international scientific community. This accomplishment affirms the academic excellence of UNAIR\u2019s chemistry programs and expands opportunities for students in both academia and professional careers, including access to exclusive RSC webinars. Furthermore, students and faculty members will receive a complimentary one-year RSC membership, enabling them to broaden their professional networks, access research publications, and receive career development support.<\/p>\n\n<p>The accreditation evaluation was conducted directly by an RSC assessment team, which included Mr. Shreyan Patel (RSC Professional Standards Specialist), Prof. June McCombie (University of Nottingham), and Prof. Zanariah Binti Abdullah (Universiti Malaya).
