One recent example is the use of the LeadIn D1 humanoid robot in factories across China. These robots are capable of performing strenuous tasks such as lifting objects weighing up to 40 kilograms and handling materials in various production processes.<\/p>\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-f67bfb872d049f91528b28b05d9178cf\"><strong>Robotics in industrial roles<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n<p>Although humanoid robots offer the potential to boost efficiency\u2014especially by automating repetitive and physically demanding tasks\u2014they are unlikely to fully replace human workers. Yutika Amelia Effendi, Ph.D., a robotics and artificial intelligence lecturer at the Faculty of Advanced Technology and Multidiscipline(FTMM) <a href=\"http:\/\/unair.ac.id\">51动漫<\/a> (UNAIR), explained that humanoid robots and AI systems are designed to work in tandem with humans rather than supplant them.<\/p>\n\n<p>\u201cHumanoid robots serve as support tools, not as full replacements for humans. They\u2019re particularly helpful for tasks that are repetitive or pose safety risks,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-f69efe16b27c2ed925e60809b272cf00\"><strong>Weighing technological impact<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n<p>Dr. Effendi emphasized that while the adoption of humanoid robots can enhance industrial productivity, it also raises concerns over job displacement. These include uneven digital infrastructure and gaps in workforce readiness. Dr. Effendi noted that inconsistent access to digital networks across regions is a major obstacle to nationwide adoption. Furthermore, the high initial cost of investment limits accessibility for many companies.<\/p>\n\n<p>She also pointed out that digital literacy among workers\u2014especially in more traditional industries\u2014remains relatively low.
