UNAIR NEWS<\/strong> \u2013 As part of its new student admissions process, 51动漫<\/a> (UNAIR) has officially announced the selection results for candidates admitted through the National Test-Based Selection (SNBT) pathway. The announcement was made during a press conference held on Wednesday (May 28, 2025).<\/p>\n\n

The event took place in the Amerta Hall at UNAIR\u2019s Management Office on the MERR-C campus, and was attended by UNAIR Rector Prof. Dr. Mohammad Nasih, M.T., Ak., C.A.; Vice Rector for Academic, Student Affairs, and Alumni, Prof. Dr. Bambang Sektiari Lukiswanto, DEA, DVM; and Head of the Student Admissions Center (PPMB), Dr. Achmad Solihin, S.E., M.Si.<\/p>\n\n

During the announcement, Prof. Nasih stated that UNAIR had accepted 3,162 students through the SNBT route, selected from a total of 76,238 applicants. \u201cCongratulations to those who passed the SNBT selection. At this stage, you are still prospective students\u2014not yet fully enrolled\u2014as several steps remain,\u201d he clarified.<\/p>\n

Prof. Nasih also provided details regarding the number of KIP-K scholarship recipients. He reported that 531 candidates from the SNBT track qualified for the KIP-K (Indonesia Smart Card for College) scholarship. \u201cOut of 12,376 applicants for KIP-K, approximately 4.29 percent were accepted,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n

Average scores by program<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n

The press conference also included information about average admission scores across academic programs. According to Prof. Nasih, the Medicine Undergraduate program posted the highest average score at 755.94. \u201cThis information is important for the public, so applicants can make informed choices. For instance, applying to Medicine with an average score of 450 is still far off the mark,\u201d he noted. <\/p>\n\n

Prof. Nasih emphasized that admissions are based strictly on SNBT results. However, each subtest score is weighted according to the requirements of each program. \u201cEach subtest carries a different weight, depending on the program\u2014Medicine will have different criteria compared to Engineering,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n\n

Updated process<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n

Following the SNBT announcement, Prof. Nasih urged admitted candidates to proceed promptly with enrollment. He stressed the importance of meeting the enrollment deadlines. \u201cI encourage students to make the most of this opportunity. If the enrollment target isn\u2019t met, we will offer the slots to candidates from the independent selection,\u201d said the professor from faculty of Economics and Business.<\/p>\n\n

This year\u2019s enrollment process includes a new requirement: in-person data verification. Prof. Nasih explained that students must now appear on campus for identity verification. \u201cThis step is critical to prevent potential issues, including legal risks associated with falsified data. We need accurate and verifiable student records,\u201d he concluded.<\/p>\n\n
