UNAIR NEWS<\/strong> \u2013 51动漫<\/a> (UNAIR) has earned national acclaim once again, this time as one of 11 leading universities awarded the 5 Years of Impact Award by Pertamina during the Pertamina Goes to Campus (PGTC) 2025 event. The award recognizes UNAIR\u2019s ongoing commitment to empowering students to create impactful innovations in energy and sustainability through the Pertamuda Seed and Scale competition over the past five years.<\/p>\n\n

Testament to UNAIR commitment<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n

Representing the Directorate of Career Development, Entrepreneurship Incubation, and Alumni Affairs(DPKKA), Yanuar Nugroho said the award affirms UNAIR\u2019s dedication to fostering student innovation.<\/p>\n\n

\u201cThis recognition reflects UNAIR\u2019s commitment to developing meaningful innovations, particularly in the areas of energy and sustainability. It\u2019s more than just an award\u2014it validates our efforts to build an ecosystem where young minds can craft creative solutions to global challenges,\u201d Nugroho said.<\/p>\n\n

Collaborative effort across directorates<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n

UNAIR has consistently placed student teams among the top contenders in Pertamuda for five consecutive years, thanks to collaborative efforts among university departments. Nugroho noted that DPKKA, BPBRIN (Research and Innovation Development Agency), and the Directorate of Student Affairs have all played key roles in supporting students as they turn ideas into viable business models.<\/p>\n\n

\u201cWe collaborate to provide mentorship and proper resources. Through incubation programs, training, mentorship, and partnerships, UNAIR students have been able to refine their business concepts and compete at a high level in events like Pertamuda Seed and Scale,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n\n

DPKKA has also taken a holistic approach to entrepreneurial development, offering support that extends beyond technical knowledge to include professional networking opportunities.<\/p>\n\n

\u201cWe urge students to explore business ideas tied to strategic issues like energy and sustainability. After going through pre-incubation with DPKKA, students move into the incubation stage led by BPBRIN, while the Directorate of Student Affairs continues to back them in national and international competitions,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n\n

In his closing remarks, Nugroho encouraged students to stay engaged and respond to evolving challenges through social entrepreneurship. \u201cThe job market will only become more competitive. Rather than waiting for opportunities, it\u2019s better to start building your own. If UNAIR students can tap into the potential of energy and sustainability, they\u2019ll have the chance to create meaningful solutions that benefit society and the environment,\u201d he concluded.<\/p>\n\n
