The event featured Dimas Bagus Satrio Aji, Area Manager at PT BFI Finance, and was held virtually on Thursday (July 17, 2025), focusing on the evolving challenges of the future workforce.<\/p>\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-fd324350860411cd146221ee74d2a789\"><strong>Facing future challenges<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n<p>According to Aji, advancements in technology have already begun replacing numerous job roles. However, he noted that not all occupations can be automated. \u201cThere are many aspects that machines can&#8217;t replicate\u2014such as our ability to think critically and adapt,\u201d he said. <\/p>\n\n<p>He emphasized that modern organizations increasingly demand individuals capable of collaborating across regions and cultural backgrounds. \u201cPeople who can work across cultural and geographic boundaries must develop not only technical skills, but also strong interpersonal and communication abilities,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n\n<p>In addition to collaboration, Aji identified two essential skills for workplace success: problem-solving and public speaking. \u201cThese are crucial in both team meetings and project execution,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-65cd8b8f58e29a646fa6d76ab469eb0c\"><strong>Skills for the future<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n<p>Aji stressed that problem-solving is especially critical in dealing with fast-changing environments. It helps individuals identify and analyze problems and develop effective solutions. \u201cThink of problem-solving like the GPS in your car\u2014it helps guide your next steps,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n<p>He shared a practical method for building problem-solving skills: start by gathering all available ideas, then group and organize them visually. This approach can make it easier to analyze and address complex issues.<\/p>\n\n<p>According to Aji, problem-solving skills must be developed continuously. Practicing regularly, cultivating a positive mindset, and learning from others are key. \u201cYou can strengthen this skill through participating in projects, organizations, and other group initiatives,\u201d he suggested.<\/p>\n\n<p>Public speaking, he added, is a vital communication skill in today\u2019s job market. The ability to clearly express ideas in front of an audience not only ensures your message is heard but also enhances your professionalism and credibility.<\/p>\n\n<p>To become an effective public speaker, Aji recommended getting to know your audience. \u201cNot every situation calls for formal language. Understanding your audience helps tailor your message to the context,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n<p>He also stressed that strong public speaking requires emotional control and confidence.
