In response, <a href=\"http:\/\/unair.ac.id\">UNAIR<\/a>, through its Center for Social Fund Management (PUSPAS), has quickly begun collecting data and conducting outreach to ensure support reaches the students most affected.<\/p>\n\n<p>According to Dr. Wisudanto SE MM CFP ASPM, Head of PUSPAS, the effort reflects UNAIR\u2019s commitment to its social mission and to advancing Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4 on Quality Education. He added that the university is also focused on helping students recover from the disaster\u2019s aftermath.<\/p>\n\n<p>\u201cBased on assessments from the Education and Student Affairs Team, 64 students have been identified as needing assistance,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-8688388f92867909f0d11a07e312b9f9\"><strong>Reducing students\u2019 financial strain<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n<p>Beyond identifying affected students, UNAIR PUSPAS and other university units have prepared a comprehensive aid package aimed at easing financial pressures. In line with SDG 3, Good Health and Well-being, Wisudanto noted that one measure includes providing relief for the Single Tuition Fee (UKT).<\/p>\n\n<p>\u201cThe assistance will take the form of reduced tuition fees and living cost support through the PUSPAS Sahabat Card,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n\n<p>In addition to financial aid, PUSPAS UNAIR will also provide free lunch programs for impacted students, distributed through each faculty. This initiative aligns with SDG 2, Zero Hunger. \u201cAs for how long this support will continue, we will do everything we can to keep it going,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-766c84ea6f2c3d0ae2c2aa0a9dba1327\"><strong>Encouraging social solidarity<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n<p>Understanding the importance of collective action in strengthening social solidarity, PUSPAS is inviting the broader community to take part in this humanitarian effort.
