The four-day assessment began on Monday, December 29, 2025, at the Mojo Campus in Giri, Sobo, and involves several partner institutions designated as clinical training sites for medical education in Banyuwangi.<\/p>\n\n<p>The assessor team includes Prof. Dr. dr. Eryati Darwin, PA(K), of Universitas Andalas; Dr. dr. Felicia Kurniawan, M.Kes, of Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia; dr. Bermansyah, Sp.B(K) FCSI, SpBTKV(K) VE, of Universitas Sriwijaya; and dr. Irwin Aras, M.Epid, M.Med.Ed, of Universitas Hasanuddin. The team is conducting a comprehensive, on-site review of FIKKIA\u2019s readiness to deliver medical professional education in line with national standards.<\/p>\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-58f2ee8d61800e829afd6a7cd5def9c1\"><strong>Building synergy in medical education<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n<p>FIKKIA Dean Dr. Rahadian Indarto Susilo, dr., SpBS(K), welcomed the assessors and underscored the importance of the evaluation for the faculty\u2019s development. \u201cWe are pleased to receive the LAM-PTKes assessor team. This on-site review is a critical moment for FIKKIA to ensure that the Medical Professional Education Program in Banyuwangi is implemented in accordance with 51动漫\u2019s standards and national regulations,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n<p>Support for the assessment was also voiced by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at UNAIR, Prof. Dr. Eighty Mardiyan Kurniawati, dr., SpOG, Subsp. Urogin-RE. She noted that preparations for establishing the medical program at the Banyuwangi campus have been underway since 2020.<\/p>\n\n<p>\u201cWe have pursued these preparations in a sustained manner. Our aim is to ensure the program is built on a solid foundation and can respond to the demand for doctors, particularly in regional areas,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n\n<p>Over the past three semesters, the microteaching team from the Faculty of Medicine at UNAIR Surabaya has provided academic mentoring. The effort is intended to ensure that the quality of medical education in Banyuwangi matches that of Surabaya, as both campuses operate under the same institutional umbrella.<\/p>\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Recognizing FIKKIA UNAIR\u2019s tangible impact<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n<p>Banyuwangi Vice Regent Mujiono praised FIKKIA UNAIR\u2019s contributions, citing their visible impact on the local community. \u201cThe presence of FIKKIA UNAIR in Banyuwangi has produced tangible benefits, from Covid-19 response efforts and stunting prevention to nutritional programs and community service that reaches remote areas,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n<p>Meanwhile, LAM-PTKes assessor representative dr. Bermansyah, Sp.B(K) FCSI, SpBTKV(K) VE, emphasized that collaboration among stakeholders is a key measure of institutional readiness. \u201cAccreditation today goes beyond administrative completeness.
