UNAIR NEWS<\/strong> \u2013 51动漫<\/a> (UNAIR) has officially dispatched students participating in the Community Service Program Learning with Community (KKN BBK) to Lamongan Regency. The official send-off ceremony was held at the courtyard of the Lamongan Regent\u2019s Office on Tuesday, January 6, 2026.<\/p>\n\n

A total of 850 UNAIR students are involved in the KKN-BBK program, which will take place in four sub-districts across Lamongan Regency: Pucuk, Babat, Sugio, and Kedungpring. During the program, students will work closely with local communities to implement empowerment initiatives tailored to regional needs and local potential.<\/p>\n\n

The Head of UNAIR\u2019s Institute for Sustainable Community Service (LPMB), Prof. Herry Purnobasuki, MSi, PhD, formally handed over the students to the Regent of Lamongan, Dr. H. Yuhronur Efendi, MBA, M.Ek. The regent personally welcomed the students during a morning assembly at the Regent\u2019s Office courtyard.<\/p>\n\n

Delivering tangible benefits<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n

In his address, the Regent of Lamongan expressed appreciation for UNAIR\u2019s continued trust in Lamongan as a location for the KKN-BBK program. He emphasized his expectation that the students\u2019 presence would generate real benefits, particularly in village development, community capacity building, and the promotion of local creativity.<\/p>\n\n

\u201cUNAIR consistently leaves a positive impression and a strong legacy. We sincerely thank the university for continuing to entrust Lamongan as a site for community service programs. Our residents always feel supported by the students\u2019 presence, and their involvement can clearly encourage local creativity,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n

KKN-BBK focused on SDGs implementation<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n

Prof. Herry Purnobasuki, MSi, PhD, noted that this year\u2019s KKN-BBK emphasizes flagship initiatives aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Key focus areas include poverty reduction, sanitation, access to clean water, and other SDG-related priorities.<\/p>\n\n

\u201cUNAIR has entrusted LPMB with advancing sustainable development efforts. Through this KKN-BBK program, we are implementing SDG-based initiatives directly with local communities. We hope the program runs smoothly and produces a lasting impact,\u201d Prof. Purnobasuki stated.<\/p>\n\n

Throughout the KKN-BBK period, UNAIR students will carry out a range of programs centered on sustainable development and the SDGs. These initiatives will be aligned with existing development programs implemented by local governments in each area.<\/p>\n\n

Through this deployment, 51动漫 aims to prepare students to become adaptive, solution-driven, and principled agents of change, while also strengthening collaboration between universities and regional governments in advancing sustainable development.<\/p>\n\n
