UNAIR NEWS \u2013<\/b> The series of the Student General Election (Pemira) at the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences (FPK<\/a>) has produced a new elected pair. Based on the vote count results, Dimas Ananda Prasetyo and Ahmad Fadhli Damarmanah Goesti Putra were officially elected as President and Vice President of BEM FPK 2026. The duo named their new leadership cabinet the Nalendra Cabinet, which means a strong leader with integrity.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n\n

\u201cThe reason we chose Nalendra as the name of our new cabinet is because Nalendra means a strong leader with integrity. We hope to maintain the peak achievements of BEM FPK and strive to lead this organization as an executive body with high integrity,\u201d Prasetyo said.<\/p>\n\n

Aligning with faculty vision and mission<\/b><\/h5>\n\n

Nalendra Cabinet focuses on aligning with the faculty\u2019s vision and mission to strengthen FPK\u2019s branding. This step serves as the basis for formulating work programs that create an impact for students. Prasetyo added that Nalendra is also committed to improving students\u2019 abilities in scientific writing, sports, and student welfare.<\/p>\n\n

\u201cFor this period, we are committed to organizing work programs aimed at strengthening the faculty\u2019s branding and facilitating students to develop their abilities, such as scientific writing, sports, scholarship information sharing, and student exchange,\u201d Prasetyo said.<\/span><\/p>\n\n

The flagship programs of the Nalendra Cabinet are Marine Gov-Connect and Ocean Rising Squad. Marine Gov-Connect aims to connect collaborations between students and government institutions in the fisheries and marine sectors. Meanwhile, Ocean Rising Squad aims to improve the quality of student organizations (Ormawa) in competitions.<\/p>\n\n

Focus on student welfare<\/b><\/h5>\n\n

At the beginning of their leadership period, Prasetyo admitted that he faced a challenge in the form of declining student interest in joining BEM FPK. To address this issue, the duo expanded the dissemination of information about organizational activities and highlighted the benefits of student involvement in the organization. They also committed to maintaining the image of BEM FPK as an active and high-quality executive organization.<\/p>\n\n

Before formulating their work programs, the duo conducted a survey by collecting students\u2019 aspirations to map their needs. In addition, the cabinet established a ministry focusing on the Student Advocacy and Welfare Ministry (Adkesma). Through this initiative, they hope students can further develop relevant skills and knowledge.<\/p>\n\n

\u201cWe collected students\u2019 aspirations to understand the current needs of FPK students. In addition, the Adkesma Ministry is available to support student welfare. We hope Nalendra can become an executive organization with integrity and serve as a platform for FPK students to grow,\u201d Prasetyo added.<\/p>\n\n
