UNAIR NEWS<\/b> \u2013 The Airlangga Bidikmisi Organization (AUBMO) has officially transitioned into a new leadership era. Agus Tajib Setiabudi, a Sociology student from the class of 2024, has been appointed chair for the 2026 to 2027 term. Under his leadership, Setiabudi is introducing new initiatives and programs aimed at enhancing the skills of Kartu Indonesia Pintar Kuliah (KIP-K) students at 51动漫 (UNAIR).<\/span><\/p><\/p>\n\n The administration operates under the \u201cCakra Arutala\u201d cabinet, a name derived from Sanskrit. \u201cCakra,\u201d meaning wheel, symbolizes a dynamic and evolving organization, while \u201cArutala\u201d conveys values of nobility and excellence. Together, the concept reflects AUBMO\u2019s vision to become a flexible, adaptive, and collaborative platform that supports the ongoing development of KIP-K students. Setiabudi said the cabinet represents the organization\u2019s commitment to fostering a responsive and synergistic environment for student growth.<\/p>\n\n Innovation in strengthening student skills<\/b><\/p><\/h5>\n\n Under his leadership, Setiabudi has introduced a flagship initiative called AUBMO Skills Up, designed in response to student concerns about post-graduation readiness. The program provides skills-based training for KIP-K students at UNAIR, with the goal of equipping them with practical competencies needed for life after campus.<\/p>\n\n \u201cI initiated a program called AUBMO Skills Up, which focuses on training students, especially KIP-K students in Indonesia, to be better prepared and more competitive in the workforce,\u201d Setiabudi said in an interview on March 17, 2026.<\/p>\n\n Sustainability through cadre development and community engagement<\/b><\/p><\/h5>\n\n In addition to launching new initiatives, AUBMO continues to implement its established flagship programs, which focus on organizational development and community impact. Cadre development begins with the TEA program, which introduces new students to the organization\u2019s culture and encourages them to get involved.<\/p>\n\n Other key initiatives include community service programs such as the Community Service Camp and KIP-K Goes to School (KIPK GTS), conducted in collaboration with UNAIR\u2019s Directorate of Student Affairs. These programs aim to encourage high school students across East Java and Indonesia to pursue higher education at UNAIR through scholarship opportunities.<\/p>\n\n In the area of sports, AUBMO also organizes the AUBMO Cup, a futsal competition at the provincial level that provides a platform for KIP-K students to showcase their talents. \u201cWe also run a futsal competition at the East Java level to support students\u2019 interests and talents, including those of KIP-K students,\u201d Setiabudi added.<\/p>\n\n Setiabudi also addressed the issue of self-confidence among scholarship recipients, noting that some students feel insecure due to economic differences. He emphasized that students should not feel inferior or believe they are at a disadvantage.
