The agreement was signed on Thursday (May 15, 2025) at the Soegondo Building, Faculty of Humanities, UGM.<\/p>\n\n<p>Ilham Baskoro, Chair of HIMA MKSB UNAIR, stated that the primary aim of the agreement is to expand the organization\u2019s network beyond its home institution. \u201cThrough this collaboration, we aim to&#13;\nexpand our connections so they are not limited to UNAIR but also extend to other universities, including UGM,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n<p>Baskoro explained that the MoU serves as a foundation for future collaboration. \u201cThe agreement includes provisions that regulate how the partnership will be implemented, including the rights and&#13;\nresponsibilities of each party. In essence, it serves as a foundation for joint activities moving forward,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n\n<p>The signing ceremony was attended by representatives from both institutions. From UGM, participants included Dr. Aris Munandar, M.Hum., Head of the Master\u2019s Program in American Studies, and HIMA Chair Glory Emanuella. From UNAIR, attendees included Dr. Nadya Afdholy, S.Hum., M.Pd., M.Hum., faculty advisor to HIMA MKSB, along with Baskoro and the organization\u2019s executive members.<\/p>\n\n<p>The initiative received a warm and enthusiastic response from UGM\u2019s American Studies Student Association. \u201cThe reception from UGM was exceptional. They were highly supportive and welcoming. We were even provided with a large auditorium, which made us feel greatly appreciated.
