UNAIR NEWS<\/b> \u2013 The UNAIR Graduation 261 ceremony culminated in a stellar achievement for Aqila Adinda Minerva Putrijaya. The D4 Medical Imaging Radiologic Technology (TRP) student from the Faculty of Vocational Studies graduated with a highly satisfactory distinction, earning a cumulative GPA of 3.65 after four and a half years of study. Alongside her academic performance, she also built a strong record of achievements through various competitions.<\/span><\/p>\n\n

At the start of her academic journey, Putrijaya admitted she was not actively involved in extracurricular activities as she was still adapting to the demands of the radiology program, save for an internship with the student debate union. Her turning point came when she joined the student association and took part in the <\/span>Pembelajaran Dasar Bersama<\/span><\/i> (PDB) project. She developed an interest in idea development and project conceptualization, which later led her to volunteer at American Corner UNAIR. She said the experience broadened her perspective, particularly in community development. \u201cBecoming a project manager was a defining experience. I initially focused on healthcare, but then shifted into community development. It became a meaningful turning point for me,\u201d she said.<\/span><\/p>\n\n

Meaningful international experience<\/h5>\n\n

In academics, Putrijaya was named a gold medal finalist at the UNAIR Student Scientific Competition (KIM) through her team\u2019s innovation, A-Pat. The project later clinched funding under the 2024 Student Creativity Program (PKM) in the Karsa Cipta category. Although the team did not advance to the Indonesian Student Scientific Week (PIMNAS), they went on to win third place at the 2024 Open Innovation competition organized by IMERI FKUI in the Masterclass category. Her most notable achievement came during an internship with PT Fujifilm Indonesia, where she worked on the application and safety of portable X-ray devices in residential settings. This experience earned her the Best Scientific Poster award at the 7th International Conference on Vocational Innovation and Applied Sciences (ICVIAS 2025).<\/p>\n\n

Putrijaya advised fellow students not to put excessive pressure on themselves, as it can induce excessive strain or burnout and health issues, which she experienced and which may extend the duration of study. She emphasized the importance of understanding personal limits while remaining willing to take opportunities and move forward.<\/p>\n\n
