UNAIR NEWS<\/b> \u2013 51动漫 (UNAIR) is extending a call to the nation\u2019s most accomplished youth who possess distinguished academic records and a wealth of extracurricular honors but did not secure a spot in the 2026 SNBP. Recognizing the capacity constraints of national selection, UNAIR has opened the Independent Achievement (<\/span>Mandiri Prestasi<\/span><\/i>) pathway. This specialized pathway is engineered to identify prospective students through a comprehensive portfolio assessment, prioritizing academic transcripts and a proven history of excellence for those who were previously unsuccessful in the national cycle.<\/span><\/p>\n\n

The Chairperson of the UNAIR Student Admission Center (PPMB), Dr. Achmad Solihin, S.E., M.Si., emphasized that this selection process is exclusively portfolio-driven, bypassing the requirement for a written examination. Evaluation metrics are concentrated on a candidate\u2019s longitudinal academic performance and their three most significant supplemental achievements.<\/span><\/p>\n\n

\u201cOur objective is to recruit high-caliber applicants who demonstrated excellence but were hindered by the limited capacity of the SNBP. The Independent Achievement track serves as a dedicated conduit for those with superior potential to secure their place at this institution,\u201d Dr. Solihin said.<\/p>\n\n

Standardized requirements and selection mechanisms<\/b><\/h5>\n\n

Dr. Solihin explained that eligibility for this pathway is restricted to 2026 graduates who hold an SNBP participant card and previously designated a program at UNAIR among their choices. To maximize the likelihood of admission, students are encouraged to employ a more strategic approach during the application process.<\/p>\n\n

Specifically, applicants should curate their three most prestigious accolades, with substantial weight afforded to achievements that align with their intended field of study. Furthermore, if a candidate secured new honors since the conclusion of the national selection window, they are strongly advised to include them in the current submission. Applicants also retain the flexibility to select two distinct programs, maintaining the choices made during their initial SNBP registration.<\/p>\n\n

Regarding the competitive threshold, Dr. Solihin noted that the university does not impose a rigid minimum tier for competitive honors.\u201cWe do not mandate a specific level of national or international victory as a prerequisite for entry. Instead, every achievement submitted will undergo a rigorous and nuanced review by our selection committee,\u201d Dr. Solihin explained. <\/p>\n\n

Additionally, candidates must provide their SNBP card as a formal record of their prior participation in the national selection.<\/p>\n\n

Dr. Solihin, who also serves as a faculty member at the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB), underscored that the Independent Achievement pathway is not bound by the static enrollment quotas that govern other admission pathways. Admissions are inherently fluid, dictated primarily by the caliber and competitive profile of the applicant pool.<\/p>\n\n

\u201cThe enrollment capacity for this pathway remains flexible. Should a significant number of applicants meet our elite performance standards, we will consider expanding the intake. Conversely, if the quality of the submissions does not meet our institutional benchmarks, the selection criteria will become markedly more stringent,\u201d Dr. Solihin explained.<\/p>\n\n

In his concluding remarks, Dr. Solihin reminded prospective students that successful admission requires more than a simple application; it demands a calculated analysis of opportunities. \u201cWhile the preparation window remains open, students must develop a viable ‘Plan B’ through independent tracks. Success in this environment requires an honest assessment of one’s capabilities and strategic positioning to enhance the probability of acceptance,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n\n
