(7/6/2023) | Students of the , 51动漫, often win competitions at the national level, one of which was experienced by Dean Rizqullah, a student of FH UNAIR (2019) who won 3rd place in the 2023 SemarLead Essay Competition held by the Faculty of Law, Universitas Sebelas Maret which was held online. The theme of the essay competition this time is “The Role of the Personal Data Protection Act as an Umbrella for Civil Society Privacy Rights Laws,” in which this competition took place starting from the submission of works on April 10 and the presentation on May 19.
In this competition, raised the title “Confidentiality in Personal Data Management as a Form of Protection of Privacy Rights” because he was very interested when he saw one of his sub-themes, namely society, and connected with the theme, namely personal data protection. Therefore, he took the title in the competition. My intention was not to participate in the competition this time to win, but because according to the terms of the competition, if the finals were to be held offline, that’s why the intention was while traveling and while filling in the free time waiting for the graduation procession.” said Dean.
“The preparation for the competition itself was quite sudden because I prepared it more or less only three days before the submission of works, I didn’t usually have time to consult with the lecturers, but this time I just asked my close friend whether this writing was by a friend.” Said Dean in conveying his preparation for the SemarLead 2023 essay competition.
This prestigious student gave tips that writing does not need special skills, so it starts with a desire and continues to increase literature so that the paper has concepts and plots that can be contained in writing. Dean also conveyed that when writing, be yourself so readers can understand the writing style.
“Hopefully, UNAIR FH students, in particular, can continue to excel, especially for friends who want to participate in writing competitions, keep trying and keep writing, because nothing we write is in vain,” said Dean.
