SKI FH UNAIR & Their Routine Ramadan Discussions

The Islamic Spiritual Center (SKI) is a semi-autonomous body at the Faculty of Law, 51动漫. As the name implies, SKI is engaged in the field of Islamic spirituality, so it accommodates all activities, both academic and non-academic, in this case, from the religious perspective of FH students towards Islamic values. One form of the work program implemented by SKI in the month of Ramadan is to form studies that have benefits in terms of students’ lives in general, specifically on Islamic values.

Kemal Fikri Royadi, the head of SKI, when interviewed by telephone on Friday (31/3/2023), said that this activity will be held every Wednesday at the Faculty of Law UNAIR Mosque three times a month, where each meeting has a different topic of study and the issues discussed were adjusted to the speakers present at the survey. Kemal also said that after the discussion, there would be free food and takjil for the participants, creating enthusiasm for the participants.

This year, SKI presents a general theme: “Ramadan, Blessings Bring Solid Spirit and Familiarity of Ukhwah Islamiyah”. The event aimed to strengthen the relationship between FH UNAIR students and alumni, mainly to exchange ideas and gain new knowledge through different speakers for each topic. The first meeting of this activity was held on Wednesday (29/3/2023), with speaker Iman Prihandono, S.H., M.H., LL.M., Ph.D. as the dean of the Faculty of Law, Airlangga University, who conveyed the plans that must be prepared for a better future.

In the question and answer session of this meeting, it was conveyed, “As a student, you must have a plan in achieving your goals, don’t be shy or overthink a lot in his slang to do new things, while you are still young try new things so you can continue to improve your skills.” Said the dean of FH UNAIR

This first meeting was quite enthusiastic for the participants who took part in this event, considering that this event was not only intended for UNAIR Faculty of Law students, but other students could also attend the event. “It’s true, for this first meeting, the participants seemed enthusiastic with the presence of approximately 40 participants, some of whom were not FH UNAIR students. Indeed this event was open to the public, even the head of UKMKI UNAIR, namely brother Falah who attended this event.” Said the head of SKI FH UNAIR.

Kemal hoped this year’s Ramadhan could strengthen friendly student relations to create good social links per Islamic values. The head of SKI said that this kind of event could not only be held this year, but hopefully, in the future, this event can still be held every month of Ramadan.
