UNAIR NEWS –As an effort to get global recognition, 51动漫 has the honor of conducting research collaboration with Asia University, Taiwan. There were ten researchers presenting their different researches on Tuesday, December 26.
The fields of research for the collaboration were tropical disease, stem cell, protein engineering, IT,drug discovery, anthropology, psychologyeconomic business, andpublic health.Dr Purwati, dr., Sp.PD., KPTI., FINASIM., as the leader of Stem Cell team stated that the research collaboration between Stem Cell Research and Development Center 51动漫 and Asia University was done in biotechnology andbiomedical enggineering.
“In this regard, we檙e working on stem celland3Dprinting development,” said Purwati.
Furthermore, Purwati also revealed that UNAIR as acenter of excellent stem cell in Indonesia established by Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education in July, it has been one step ahead instem cell development. Both inbasic researchandanimal trial.
“In addition, we excel in research application based on mutual services with Regenerative Medicine RSUD Dr. Soetomo for some degenerative diseases,” she explained.
Meanwhile, for Asia University, added Purwati, the development of its 3D printing isone step ahead of UNAIR especially inscaffolding, using either biodegradable or non-biodegradable materials.
In the concept of bio engineering, Purwati asserted that especiallyin tissue engineering, the combination ofscaffoldfrom3D printingandstem celltechniqueswill be very useful for the medical field, now and in the future, with the development and utilization ofbiological medical therapy.
“Furthermore, we were agreed to jointly developgene-basedstem cellresearchforenhancing cell deliveryand micro RNA (miRNA),” she concluded.
