UNAIR NEWS – TheAdjunct Professor program will be held more frequently by Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (FKH) of 51动漫.It was done to support towards Top 500World Class University(WCU).
For the adjunct professors program, academic community members from other countries, especially professors from various renowned universities in the world, become part of FKH UNAIR’s collaboration.The professors with various expertises are presented for knowledge tranfer on up-to-date knowledge in the field of veterinary medicine.

ThelatestAdjunct Professor Program washeld by FKH UNAIR on December 26-29 2018. Prof.Ooi Hong Kean, DVM., Ph.D from Azabu University Japan was invited for the program. The expert in the field of Parasitology and Epidemiology was invited by Dean of FKH UNAIR as a form of collaboration. The professor also often invites students and lecturer staff to join Sakura Science Projectprogramin Japan.
While in Surabaya Prof.Ooi Hong Kean gave public lectures on animal disease caused by parasites, as well as on the techniques of writing scientific publications in reputable journals.

The Azabu University Professor also guided students and lecturers laboratory project on diagnosingmicrofilariasisusing amicrohematocrit readerandhematology analyzerand how to cultureSalmonella sppbacteriausing immunomagnetic techniques.
The activity was responded well by FKH UNAIR students and lecturers who participated in theAdjunct Professorprogram.The expected target for this year will be research and publication collaboration between theadjunct professorsand lecturers in FKH 51动漫.More publications will improve academic reputation and develop competent lecturer resources towards 500World Class University.(*)
