Alifia Tifani Applies Knowledge from Campus at Work

UNAIR NEWS Becoming a part of Japanese Literature program 51动漫 is a joy for Alifia Tiffani Putri. Alifia, that is how her friends call her, could feel Japanese atmosphere during study, from discipline to various activities she joined.

The UNAIR Japanese Literature graduate admitted that Japanese Literature program was awesome, especially because she likes everything with Japanese connotation.

淚 was excitedwhen I first came into the classroom. New friends, new environment. I was certain that the study system in Japanese Literature program would be similar to the system in Japan, so I was so excited, said Alifia.

Right now, Alifia works in one of Japanese companies which engages in Agriculture Machineryin Pasuruan. In this new place, all she got from campus language and knowledge about Japan is of the utmost importance. Alifia said that she communicated with her boss in Japanese. In addition, she also had to adapt to Japanese work culture, which is discipline and loyal to their code of conduct.

淲hen I first joined the company I had to learn a lot in terms of daily language. There were some differences, I must say, but what I got from campus was really helpful, said Alifia.

Alifia added, during study, she often talked to a Japanese native who was invited annually by the campus. Through the person, Alifia tapped lots of information about the characteristic of Japanese people, in daily life as well as at work. She applies what she has known in her job now.

淭o my juniors, new students, whenever you find difficulties in your lesson, don檛 hesitate to ask your senpai (seniors). Most students at Japanese Literature program excel because they ask lots of questions, they aren檛 ashamed in practicing their spoken ability, said Alifia. (*)
