UNAIR NEWS– Various events initiated pre-national work meeting (Mukernas)of the Association of Indonesian College Publishers Association (APPTI) held at 51动漫.The opening which took place on Monday evening, October 2, was enlivened with band performances, book bazaar, food bazaar, and cheap batik bazaar.The event was opened by Vice Rector III of Prof. Amin Alamsjah.
The appearance of Sekaring Jagadbandstarted the event held in the yard of Airlangga University Press building.Head of the event committee and Head of the AUP Drs.Aribowo, M.S. said, pre- mukernas was carried out with art and cultural performances so it could be enjoyed by the academicians.
“If we only sell books alone, book review, that’s normal.We felt the need to show art and cultural events, “said Aribowo who once served as Dean of the Faculty of Humanities.
The one-week pre-mukernas was filled with various arts and cultural events including book review, art performances, film screenings and discussions, dance performances, magic shows, keroncong music performances, poetry parades, to theater performances.
Prof. Amin Alamsjah appreciated the APPTI’s event.He inaugurated the AUP book store.He hoped in the future AUP can be a beacon for academic progress in UNAIR or other universities.
“I saw a breakthrough this time.Held outdoor, with art and culture performances, ” said Amin.
The plan, mukernas taking place on 6-7 October will invite Minister of Research and Technology Dikti Muhammad Nasir askeynote speaker.The series of events will be continued with panel discussions and workshops.
The workshop will discuss the cover design, layout, and presentation of anexcellencebook;creative and efficientprintingwithprint听辞苍听demand;effective and efficient production management in a printing press;and book marketing strategies that can penetrate the market.(*)
