UNAIR NEWS– Airlangga Creative Market 3.0 (ACM) was again held by the Ministry of Professional Development and Entrepreneurship (PPK) BEM .ACM is abazaarevent ofvarious foods, drinks and clothing.
ACM 3.0 Head Committee, Early Safira revealed that theeventwas intended to accommodate student entrepreneurs.Unlike the previous year™s theme,vintage, this year’s theme isWorld’s Food TravelerÌý.
ACM was held at the same time with Airlangga Career Fair (ACF) and Airlangga Career Workshop (ACW), on Tuesday-Wednesday, July 3-4, at Airlangga Convention Center (ACC).The participants who attended both activities are expected to enliven ACM especially to get refreshments after following ACF and ACW.
“In addition to students™, we also provide public booths.So, throughthis campusevent, they (the general public, ed) can also get income, “said Safira.
“Thisis annual event.However, there is a difference, last year it was held not at the same time with ACF and ACW and there were performances, this year it is held with ACF and ACW.But, there are no preformances, ” she added.
The cost of opening a booth at ACM, for UNAIR students was 185 thousand, while the public was 200 thousand.Tables, and chairs were provided by the committee.There was alsofavoritetenantselection.Favoritetenants won cash prizes from the committee.
“ACM is held to accommodate UNAIR students entrepreneurs.In addition, we provide booths for the public as well, “said Safira.
There were about 20 student booths from the Entrepreneurial Student Program (PMW), an entrepreneurship development program for UNAIR students by the Center for Career Development and Entrepreneurship (PPKK).In addition, there were eight UNAIR student booths, including 12generaltenantsÌý.
Safira also said that in the ACM implementation, there were several obstacles.For example, the time interval between preparation and implementation was too close.The number of enthusiasts ortenantswere many, but the place was limited because it was related to capital.
“We hope the students of UNAIR are more motivated towards entrepreneurship.Although, the scope is still small, but it must begin and cultivated,” said the student of Faculty of Science and Technology UNAIR.(*)
