UNAIR NEWS – Student Executive Board (BEM) of (UNAIR) understands the importance of information on campus life for new students.Therefore, they opened the information booth in collaboration with student organizations in UNAIR.
The information booth opens during the verification process of freshmen, from July 17 -25, 2018 on the 1st floor of Airlangga Convention Center (ACC) building, Campus C UNAIR.
BEM also cooperates with BEM faculty and semi-autonomous bodies (BSO) in UNAIR.UNAIR Bidikmisi Organization or familiarly known as AUBMO is one of them.
As a special organization for Bidikmisi students, AUBMO’s main target is the new Bidikmisi students.AUBMO also provides Bidikmisi coordinator or Faculty Coordinator (DKF).DKF can be contacted by each Bidikmisi recipient candidates in their respective faculties.
Bidikmisi freshmen students seemed enthusiastic with the existence of this information booth.Surya Indah, a freshman from Communication Science stated that he was really helped by this facility.
“It greatly helped.I just found out that there is Bidikmisi organization.Here I can alsogetmy seniors™ contacts for inquiry about Bidikmisi in UNAIR.It feels easier, more helpful because the information is clear as well, “explained Surya Indah.
Other than Surya Indah, Zahroh, a student of Information Science and Library, also expressed similar feelings.According to her, this information booth facility is very helpful to know everything about Bidikmisi in UNAIR.
“Honestly I am glad there is a facility if I wanted to ask questions.From the start, I actually do not know in details also Bidikmisi problem.I registered with only knowing about official information on the website only, “explained Zahroh.
“This activity really helps.We can ask questions directly in a more relaxed way and of course the information is more complete and credible, ” she added.
The information booth is expected to help freshmen and answer their questions.This facility is certainly useful for freshmen in the face of campus life.(*)
