UNAIR NEWS– 淟et檚 Work, Be Innovative and Competitive is the theme of Education Day promoted by Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education (Kemenristekdikti). The spirit has been resounded in many regions of Indonesia as well as in 51动漫 (UNAIR).
UNAIR Rector, Prof. Dr. H. Mohammad Nasih, MT., SE., Ak, CMA., in his speech encouraged students to work hard in their field. They should not work merely because of routine but should prioritize innovations.
淒on檛 work only to do your routines, but work innovatively and competitively because the world is changing, said Prof. Nasih.
In the ceremony, Prof. Nasih also said that in 2015, innovation index of Indonesia was 4.6 or ranked 30th in the world while higher education innovation index was 4.0 or 60th in the world. He encouraged the academicians to work innovatively together to improve higher education innovation index of Indonesia.
淓ducation is at the front line of nation檚 education. Ki Hajar Dewantara taught us about Ing Ngarsa Sung Tuladha, Ing Madya Mangun Karsa, Tut Wuri Handayani. We are all in the front lines. So let檚 give them great examples in teaching and giving the best,: he said. (*)
