UNAIR NEWS 51动漫 has received another visit from Commission XI DPR (House of Representatives) RI. The record shows that Commission XI DPR RI visited UNAIR to discuss about Tax Amnesty Bill which is quite successful. This time, the commission which oversees Economics and Banking invited the experts in UNAIR to discuss about Non Tax State Revenue (PNBP).
Representing UNAIR Rector, Prof. Mochammad Amin Alamsjah, Ir., M.Si., Ph.D., as Vice Rector III explained that Commission XI DPR RI visit to UNAIR is the right step as UNAIR is trusted by the government to become Top 500 World University, UNAIR also concerns with university Tri Dharma.
淚 hoped that this meeting can result to something useful, said Prof. Amin in the visit held in 301 Kahuripan Hall, on Thursday, February 2.
In response to Prof. Amin statement, the Head of the visiting group of Commission XI DPR RI Ir. H. Soeptiyanto also talked a bit about UNAIR contribution in Tax Amnesty. The deputy of Commission XI said a lot of things and inputs from UNAIR have helped to manage and follow through the bill.
淲e have visited UNAIR before, asking some inputs from various academicians. UNAIR檚 ideas have helped us a lot, he said.
Some experts in UNAIR were invited for the meeting, such as from Faculty of Economics and Business, Dr. Elia Mustikasari. In her presentation, Elia explained that state revenue were from taxes, PNBP and grants. For him, tax itself is an amount of money given for the state based on the law to serve the community such as health, security and many others while PNBP is still not clear even though it has been regulated in Law number 20 Year 1997 regarding PNBP.
淏etween PNBP and grant, their application is not yet effective, she said.
Other academician commented on the matter was Wan Juli, SE., MBA., Ak., he said that tax violation should not be criminalized if there are still administrative method and appeals.
Except for the violation which is categorized as a crime, such as falsifying tax data, embezzlement and other criminal act, said Wan Juli.
One of the members of Golkar faction in Commission Xi DPR, H. Muhammad Misbakhun, also expressed his views regarding some ideas proposed by the academicians. Misbakhun promised to draft a bill on grants as its structure is still included in PNBP budgeting.
