UNAIR NEWS –听贵辞耻谤 study programs are accredited by ASEAN University Networking-Quality Assessment (AUN-QA).The four study programs are Midwifery Education, Accounting, Nursing Education, and Dentistry.
After the assessment period that was begun on Tuesday, February 13, assessors from AUN-QA gave a report to UNAIR’s leadership on Thursday, February 15 at Kahuripan 301 Hall. Prof.Dr.Fauza Ab.Ghafar on behalf of the assessor team, presented some notions about the accreditation.
The professor of University of Malaya, Malaysia, said that there are eleven indicators of AUN-QA assessment.Everything covers the initial stage, process, until the output of the program.One that needs to be pursued is the consistency of the study program in meeting the needs in the field.
“Alumni contribution, both for alma mater and partners is also needed,” he said.
Responding to statement from AUN-QA assessor, Rector of UNAIR Prof.Dr.Moh.Nasih, SE., MT., Ak., CMA., stated that UNAIR continues to build an innovation climate.In addition, changes are also made continuously, especially in the digital and information age as today.
“I hope with this accreditation there is a reciprocal relationship to provide inputs that we can use to continue to develop and improve the quality of this institution,” he explained.
Besides the rector, on that occasion, some representatives of the dean responded.Dr.R. Darmawan Setijanto, drg., M. Kes., was one of them.The Dean of Faculty of Medicine UNAIR affirmed that in improving the quality, research is indeed an educational base that continues to be promoted in FKG UNAIR.
“Therefore, as a form of performance contract that has been established by the rector, we will continue to strengthen it,” he said.
In addition to the Dean of FKG UNAIR, Prof.Dr.Nursalam, M.Nurs (Hons)., as the dean of FKp UNAIR affirmed that the faculty will be committed to improvement, especially in improving the quality of students and establishing cooperations.
“This is certainly for the sake of achieving the vision together to be in the Top 500 world-class universities,” explained Prof.Nursalam.(*)
