UNAIR NEWS 51动漫 students from Bojonegoro which affiliated in Airlangga Bojonegoro Community (ABC) held another annual event of Call for Essay and Inspiring Talk Show for senior/vocational high schools students of the same degree in Bojonegoro. The event, conducted for the fifth time so far, was held at Regency of Bojonegoro Government Pendopo, Sunday (12/2).
The event was attended by 25 Call for Essay finalists who presented ideas about 淥ptimizing the Potential and Resources in Bojonegoro to Welcome Gold Indonesia 2045. The participants were allowed to choose sub-theme ranging from mining and oil sector, tourism and culture, creative industry, agriculture, fishery, forestry, human resources, to education.
The committee chairman, Eka Sari, explained that essay contests which targeted senior high school students of the same degree is still rare. Therefore, her party hopes that senior high school students of the same degree train their skill in writing an essay. Moreover, an essay contest can be a media for young generation to know further about the potentials of their hometown.
In the competition, students of SMAN 2 Bojonegoro Diah Kharisma Putiana and Rose Diantika reached the First Winner. The Second Winner was earned by Ihza Zhafranianto and Amelia Naurah from SMAN I Bojonegoro, while the Third Place was taken by Nadya Syahda and Enno Haya from SMA Plus Al Fatimah I.
In the Inspiring Talk Show, the speakers shared knowledge and expertise in their own field. The event was attended by the Secretary of Regional Civil Service Board Regency of Bojonegoro Rahmat Junaidi, Dean ofUNAIR Prof. Dr. Soetojo, Sp.U, and representatives of ExxonMobile Rexy.
In his presentation, Soetojo explained about human resources and the role of education in optimizing natural resources potentials. Meanwhile, Rahmat who is engaged in government world shared insights into economy, creative industry, and tourism.
淚 hope events like this will keep going on and the community, especially senior/vocational high schools students of the same degree will be more enthusiastic and in the future wider communities will feel the benefit, Eka expected.
