UNAIR NEWS “The last day of Airlangga Education Expo 2018 , Sunday, February 25, presented a variety of events and dozens of booths were crowded by thousands of participants.
The Head of Information and Public Relations Center (PIH) 51¶¯Âþ, Suko Widodo stated that the organizer was very grateful.Airlangga Education Expo was the first one to be organized.
“Although it was the first time, we are very grateful and happy to see the enormous enthusiasm of participants,” he said while reviewing the exhibition booth.
In addition, the Head of Student Admission Center (PPMB) Ahmad Solihin S.E., M.Si., revealed the same thing.When closing the event, Solihin was very grateful to all parties who have participated in the success of the new event.
“To the heads of institutes, units, faculties, and all participants involved in this activity, we are very grateful for the support,” he said.
Hedy Diah Syahputri as the representative of the event coordinator said that the success of the event and the high enthusiasm of visitors, cannot be separated from the role of the committee team that works as well as possible.In addition, Hedy also asserted that the activities held for three days were also received appreciation from various participants.
“Although there were some shortcomings from us, many participants hoped that this activity will be conducted in the following years,” explained Hedy.
On the last day, various events were held such as talk showon choosing courses according to the interests and abilities,talk showabout scholarships available at UNAIR,talk show with outstanding students and alumni, andtalk showwith entrepreneur students.
At the end, the event was wrapped up with an awarding session for the booth category and the best information category.The top three for best booth was the Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, and Faculty of Economics and Business.Then for the category of the best information achieved by the Faculty of Marine Fisheries, Faculty of Public Health, and Communication Forum of UKM.
“Hopefully thousands of participants who have been present in this activity can get the benefits and information needed,” said Hedy.“Good luck for the candidates of Airlangga Knights,” she concluded.
