UNAIR NEWS Alumni of Faculty of Dental Medicine 51动漫 2002 were aspired to contribute for the dental medicine science and society. Therefore, they collaborated with Department of Public Dental Health UNAIR to hold a seminar 淒entist Revolution in the New Generation, on Sunday, March 5.
One of the speakers was B.Harry Setiawan, SE., M.Kes as the Marketing Manager of RS. PHC Surabaya. He said that dentist must have special position.
According to him, the dentists having practice in a small town are expected to differentiate the place and facility for middle low patient and middle up. If both considered the same, there will be some mistrust from each group of community.

Dr Taufan Bramantoro, drg., M.Kes. agreed to that statement. He explained that the era has changed and more advanced. The improvement of information technology demands the dentists to be more sensitive, including with the complaints from the community.
淲hen they were unsatisfied with the healthcare service, they used to keep quiet and complaining. But now, they will write it on social media and it spreads everywhere and read by many, said Taufan.
Taufan explained the importance of understanding the information technology (IT) as based on his experience the patients get more information about a clinic from social media.
淭he dentists now are close with the IT world. It is an example of the dynamics of people檚 way of thinking, the solution is needed to face the new generation, he added. (*)
