UNAIR NEWS Board of Trustees (MWA) Assembly of eleven state universities acting as legal entity (PTN-BH) held for two days on March 17-18, 2016 has resulted to a communiqu茅, signed and agreed by MWA representatives from eleven PTN-BH in Garuda Mukti Hall, Management Office, 51动漫.
After the assembly, UNAIR Rector Prof. Dr. M. Nasih, S.E., M.T., Ak, announced it in a press conference with the Chairman of MWA UNAIR Sudi Silalahi, Vice Chairman MWA Universitas Padjajaran H. Obsatar Sinaga, also Unpad Rector Prof. Dr. dr. med. Tri Hanggono Achmad.
In the event held for two days, a forum to unite MWA PTN-BH was established. It was Board of Trustees Cooperation Forum of State University Acting as Legal Entity. Through the forum, the leaders of MWA can perform in synergy and solidly.
淭hrough this cooperation forum, we檙e going to be in synergy to struggle for the universities together, said Sudi while establishing the forum.
The Chairman of MWA UNAIR continued, there are some objectives to achieve by the forum. One of them is to support the state universities to reach Top 500 World Class University.
淭o reach Top 500 World Class University as targeted by the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education is not an easy task. There are many things to acquire such as human resources, regulation and financial management. If we had problems, we wouldn檛 want an answer, but there檚 should be a follow up, said the Chairman of MWA UNAIR.
Vice Chairman of MWA Unpad who was also present added that there will be other meetings to discuss latest problems in the universities. In the follow-up assembly, MWA PTN-BH will invite all the stakeholders related to Education management.
淲e also have a job to improve university good governance to achieve Top 500 World Class University. We also need follow-up meetings as stated by the Chairman of MWA UNAIR to formulate a trantitional scheme especially on financial responsibility aspect. We will invite related stakeholders such as Ministry of Finance, Commission X DPR which supervises Education and Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education. We want them all stakeholders to meet and discuss this so they can contribute directly, said Obsatar.
In the end of the forum, Unpad was trusted to be the host for the next Cooperation Forum MWA PTN-BH.
This MWA assembly from eleven PTN-BH was initiated by MWA UNAIR and MWA Institut Pertanian Bogor. This assembly was held to discuss similar problems faced by PTN-BH. (*)
