Data Science Technology study program student, Arya Duta Sumitro Putra initiated a business optimization model by implementingmachine learningtechnology to manage associations and predict the market.This idea led him to win 3rd Place in the EVEESCO 2023 Essay Competition by East Java “Veteran” National Development University.
ToUNAIR NEWS April 28, 2023, Arya explained that the idea was part of a campus assignment project.With a deep understanding, he can minimize challenges during the competition.
œAssociation Rules and Time Series Analysis are the latest technologies in the world of Economics.These technologies are the most appropriate to managesupply chainsand analyze market trends,” he explained.
The supply chainis essential.It affects the selection of businesspartners and controlling product quantity.Thus, it is necessary to understand product sales data to make business decisions.
According to him, the idea came up from increased food and vegetable waste production”mainly shrimp waste which reached 1.43 million tons annually.
He said the biggest challenge in participating in the competition was managing his time as a data science engineering student with all the campus assignments he was working on. Moreover, Arya said he is often busy creating websites with the web dev team. (*)
