UNAIR NEWS 51动漫 (UNAIR) held its inaugural quarterly leadership summit for 2026 on Monday, April 13, 2026, at the Hall on the first floor of the Management Building, MERR-C Campus. The forum served as a key platform for consolidating institutional performance and outlining the university檚 strategic direction. During the session, UNAIR Rector Prof. Madyan presented several priority agendas aimed at strengthening institutional performance in the coming period.
淢oving forward, not only the central administration but also faculties must actively strengthen their branding. At present, branding and publication have become paramount priorities, Prof. Madyan said.
He noted that effective branding should align with improvements in the university檚 tridharma performance, particularly in research that delivers tangible benefits to society. He stressed that research outcomes should extend beyond publication and generate meaningful contributions to development and public welfare.
He further emphasized the need to increase research output across the academic community, noting its pivotal influence on Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and institutional reputation at both national and global levels. In this regard, the volume of publications and scientific citations remains a key metric that requires continuous improvement.

Collective collaboration across the academic community
As UNAIR continues to rise in global rankings, the rector underscored that these achievements reflect the collective efforts of all university stakeholders. 淭his accomplishment is not mine alone. Every unit and body within UNAIR has played a significant role, and all have demonstrated exceptional performance, he said.
In addition to research, he highlighted the importance of community service as a core component of the tridharma of higher education. He emphasized that such efforts must be continuously strengthened to ensure that UNAIR檚 presence delivers tangible benefits to society.
Concluding his remarks, the rector expressed appreciation for the performance of all leadership members and work units during the first quarter of 2026.
