UNAIR NEWS “ The LPDP Scholarship remains one of Indonesia™s most competitive and sought-after funding programs for students pursuing higher education. LPDP Scholarship selection stages

The LPDP Scholarship selection process consists of several stages that applicants must complete. It begins with an administrative review to evaluate document completeness and eligibility. Candidates who pass this stage proceed to the scholastic aptitude test, followed by the final phase, known as the substantive assessment.

Strategies and tips for success

Careful and consistent preparation is essential to securing an LPDP Scholarship. Applicants are advised to understand LPDP™s vision and mission so their study objectives align with meaningful contributions to Indonesia. Strong familiarity with personal essays and the ability to present realistic, high-impact contribution plans are also critical. Practicing interviews using the STAR method can further help candidates deliver clear and convincing responses. The STAR approach, Situation, Task, Action, and Result, enables applicants to explain their experiences in a logical, structured, and measurable manner.

Common pitfalls to avoid

Several common missteps can significantly reduce an applicant™s chances of success. Incomplete documentation is a frequent reason for early elimination. Personal essays that are unrealistic or lack clear impact may weaken an application. Additionally, an overly confident or arrogant attitude during interviews can leave a negative impression on interviewers.
