淭here are many topics available at the internship company, especially since I am in the Tier 1 Systems and Components Department. The focus of my position is on developing train components, such as monitoring bogieswhose work is related to electronics and programming subject said the Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Engineering (TRKB) student.

In this department, Rafi works on abogie monitoringproject on trains. An innovation that can potentially change the future of the railway industry. He is developing a tool to monitor train conditions inreal-timeand determine whether the train needs maintenance. The monitor has several sensors, such as vibration, temperature and pressure sensors for train brakes.

Internship activities at State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) are not just routine work.Rather, it is a magical window that can take students into the world of train-making.Rafi admitted that the experience he gained through his internship at INKA had opened his eyes and given him an irreplaceable perspective淚f I had not interned at INKA, I would not have witnessed every step of the train manufacturing process from start to finish before distribution. Moreover, I can see other projects such asLight Rail Transit(LRT),Battery Tram, and many more.Furthermore, interns here have the opportunity to be involved in testing the firsthybridtrain in Indonesia, he said.
Rafi believes that learning through internships is the best way to combine theory with practice. Internship is a medium for honing skills, solving challenges, and achieving success in the complex professional world.
淚 hope that this valuable experience in the BUMN environment will be a valuable provision that can strengthen opportunities for success in the future, concluded the class of 2020 student.
