Launching Bank Sampah Emas, BEM collaborates with UNAIR SDGs Center to achieve Zero Goals

UNAIR NEWS Ministry of Social and Environment Student Executive Board (BEM) Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) 51动漫 (UNAIR) for the 2022 period held asoft launchingof Bank Sampah Emas (lit: Gold Waste Bank, ed) on Friday, September 9, 2022, at the Student Center of FISIP .听Bank Sampah Emas (Garbage Sorting Movement) activity works as a real action to realize FISIP UNAIR towards a green campus.听The waste bank is a solution to the waste management problem that has not been resolved for years in FISIP UNAIR academic community.

As the chief executive, Marcella announced that the committee provides rewards for academics who want to save in their waste bank. 淲e give rewards for friends who want to collect garbage, explained Marcella.

She explained that the Bank Sampah Emas was a tangible manifestation of 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) to make the FISIP UNAIR a green campus.

淭he waste bank will receive waste from students every two weeks, every Friday at FISIP UNAIR. The exact time and location will be adjusted and informed via Instagram accounts @fisipgreensociety and @bemfisipunair, explained Marcella.

Furthermore, Marcella explained the criteria for acceptable garbage. 淭he terms and conditions for depositing garbage are that they must be dry and clean from product residue, the minimum deposit that gets a reward from Bank Sampah Emas is 1 kg, explained Marcella.

淎ctually, we started receiving garbage at 2 o檆lock later, but after this inauguration, we are receiving waste, he concluded.

Meanwhile, Putu Aditya Ferdian Ariawantara SIP MKP, FISIP faculty representative, considered the activity very positive. 淗opefully, this action will be a source of good deeds for us, said Putu.

Furthermore, Moh. Agung Santoso SHum MM, UNAIR SDGs Center representative, appreciated the collaboration between BEM FISIP and Lamalama.id.

淭he collaboration in providing Bank Sampah Emas is very interesting. Besides being useful, it can also support the goal of SDG 2 淣o Hunger and SDG 12 for Responsible Consumption and Production, explained Agung.

He also said he was ready to support the activities of the waste bank in FISIP UNAIR.

淲e, UNAIR SDGs Center, will help maintain this program because positive student activity like this is the spearhead of SDGs implementation, Agung emphasized.
