UNAIR NEWS Throughout 2022 51动漫 () has made various achievements.One of the latest achievements was UNAIR檚 scientific journal, The Indonesian Journal of Public Health from the Faculty of Public Health (FKM), was successfully indexed byScopuson Tuesday (20/12/2022).This journal started to publish scientific journals in 2004.
The FKM檚 journal indexing has increased the number of UNAIR scientific journals indexed byScopus.淲ith the addition of FKM檚 journal, UNAIR currently has fiveScopus-indexed journals, said Prof. Hery Purnobasuki MSi PhD, Head of the Institute for Innovation, Journal Development, Publishing and Intellectual Property Rights (LIPJPHKI) UNAIR.
The five journals include the Asian Journal of Accounting Research (AJAR) from the Faculty of Economics and Business, Scientific Journal of Fisheries and Maritime Affairs from the Faculty of Fisheries and Maritime Affairs, Ners Journal from the Faculty of Nursing, Dental Journal from the Faculty of Dental Medicine, and the scientific journal from FKM UNAIR.
淗opefully, two journals in process and three additional scientific journals will be indexed by Scopus next year, said Prof. Hery.
Scientific journal submission

Scientific journals are submittedonline, but not all submitted scientific journals are successfully indexed byScopus.Failure is possible in this case.After submitting the journal,Scopuswill send a review and an embargo when the scientific journal does not meet the requirements.
淚mprovement of scientific journals cannot be done quickly, journal publishers are given one or two years for it, explained Prof. Hery.
Various benefits
One of the benefits of Scopus-indexed scientific journals is that they open up wider opportunities for publishers to collaborate with various domestic and foreign partners.
