UNAIR NEWS A lecturer and students of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB)(UNAIR) have made another brilliant achievement. The paper by Dr. Dina Fitrisia Septiarini SE MM Ak, Mir檃tun Nisa, and Putri Pramita successfully passed the qualified for an international conference, 3rd International Congress on Islamic Finance and Accounting (IIFAC) 2022, held by Hasan Kalyoncu University, Turkiye.
The IIFAC 2022 international conference is conducted on ahybridbasis manner.Through this event, Islamic economics academics from various countries exchange ideas about journals and books frompaperspresented by participants.
Mir檃tun Nisa, the team leader, said that she and her team had previously sent theextended abstractto the organizers.Then, they received an invitation from the organizer to doan oral presentation.

Sharia P2P lending products in Indonesia
Initially, the team planned to go to Turkiye to attend the international conference.However, due to the tighttimeline, several recommendations from alumni and lecturers currently studying in Turkiye, and several other things, the team decided to participate online.
淭he topics covered in IIFAC 2022 included Islamic Finance, Islamic Economics, Islamic Insurance, Islamic Business, and other issues in Islamic financial institutions, she added.
The student from Gresik explained the issues raised by the UNAIR FEB Islamic Economics Department Team. The team raised issues related to factors that affect public trust in Peer to Peer (P2P) Sharia Lending products in Indonesia.
Furthermore, Putri Pramita explained that from the research results, the team found a significant positive effect between the level of margin and financial goals on the borrower檚 decision to use Sharia P2P Lending.
淢eanwhile,indebtednessandfinancial sizewere found to have no significant effects on the decision to use sharia P2P lending, he explained.
The student, known better as Mita, hoped that thepaperpresented by the team can contribute to the development of science and teaching of Islamic economics, not only on a national scale, but also international scale.
淲e hope that thispapercan increase public awareness regarding various Islamic financial products that continue to grow, he said.(*)
