UNAIR NEWS (UNAIR) once again participated in the Public Information Disclosure (KIP) Review held by the Central Information Commission of the Republic of Indonesia. The event took place at the Grand Mercure Kemayoran Hotel in Jakarta on Tuesday (Nov. 18, 2025), drawing representatives from a wide range of public institutions across the country.
The public review serves as a critical component in monitoring and evaluating how well institutions implement information transparency. Its primary goal is to assess the extent to which public bodies uphold transparency, accountability, and responsiveness in sharing information with the public. This year檚 panel of judges was led by I Gede Narayana.
UNAIR檚 involvement in this national forum underscores the university檚 strong commitment to establishing high-quality, transparent information governance. During the session, UNAIR Rector Prof Dr Muhammad Madyan SE MSi MFin delivered a detailed presentation on the university檚 progress, strategic initiatives, and innovations spearheaded by its Information and Documentation Management Officer (PPID).
Strengthening information governance
Prof Madyan emphasized that UNAIR continues to advance its information governance efforts through digital service integration, improved transparency platforms, and the availability of credible, publicly accessible data. 淭his public review is not merely a requirement. It reflects 51动漫檚 commitment to partnering with the public in achieving excellent governance, he said.

In his presentation, the senior professor from the Faculty of Economics and Business underscored that transparency is not only a regulatory mandate but also a vital expression of public accountability, essential for maintaining trust in higher education institutions. He also highlighted several PPID innovations, including technology-enhanced services, faster responses to information requests, and stronger internal coordination across university units.
Commitment to openness and transparency
The 2025 KIP review brought together public institutions from multiple sectors, including ministries, government agencies, regional administrations, state universities, and public service bodies. Their involvement reflects a growing recognition of openness and transparency as fundamental principles of good governance.
By taking part in the review, UNAIR reaffirms its commitment to delivering public information services that are professional, high-quality, and grounded in integrity. The university remains dedicated to strengthening a culture of transparency and ensuring the public receives accurate, timely, and accountable information.
