UNAIR NEWS 51动漫 held another gathering activity with the parents of new students.Through Social Fund Management Center (PUSPAS), the activities that had been stopped due to the pandemic were again carried out in several sessions.
For the first session, on August 19, 2022, PUSPAS invited parents from the Faculty of Vocational Studies (FV) and Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (FKH). Being held in Garuda Mukti Hall, UNAIR MERR (C) Campus, the activity was packaged in the form of presentations from the leadership and discussions with students parents.
Attending the occasion, Head of PUSPAS Dr. Wisudanto SE MM CFP ASPM with his staff, Director of Academic Affairs Prof. Dr. Sukardiman MS Apt, Director of Finance Dr. Ardianto SE MSi Ak CMA CA, and leaders from FV and FKH. With hundreds of parents attending, Dr. Wisudanto introduced various activities and achievements carried out by PUSPAS.
淎s an institution that manages social funds, the presence of PUSPAS is a mandate from the Rector, so there are no students constrained by costs during their studies, he said.
Regarding the achievements, Dr. Wisudanto explained that the distribution of PUSPAS funds has targeted more than 7 thousand students, with distributed funds reaching more than 3.5 billion. Moreover, during the Covid-19 pandemic, more than 15 billion funds were managed and distributed by PUSPAS.
淭hese (managed, ed) funds come from many sources, such as endowments, social funds, zakat, and disaster care, he said.
Second speaker, Prof. Sukardiman explained various academic activities at UNAIR. In addition, Prof. Sukardiman also emphasized that the university learning process differs from high schools.

The UNAIR Professor from Faculty of Pharmacy also mentioned the Independent Campus (MBKM) program. The existence of MBKM, he explained, has provided a wider space so that students can learn many things during college. In fact, students can carry out programs and activities outside of the study program taken.

Furthermore, as a form of campus support in bridging parental supervision, Prof. Sukardiman also introduced cybercampus app for parents. According to him, cybercampus app for parents is very helpful for monitoring student learning outcomes.

In the end, Director of Finance Affairs Dr. Ardianto discussed the campus financial allocations to students. According to him, UNAIR has made every effort to provide the best support so all students can study well and graduate.
淲e continue to make efforts so that more than 20% of students receive scholarships. Although some have not received scholarships and often apply for UKT waivers every semester, we continue to strive and we are also collaborating with PUSPAS, he explained. 淥ur principle is that students should not drop out of college due to financial reasons, he concluded.
