UNAIR NEWS Students of had the chance to strengthen their understanding of personal branding and workplace readiness through a webinar hosted by the Career and Alumni Impact Center (PKKA) on Thursday (October 23, 2025), via Zoom Meeting. The session featured distinguished speakers from top industries, Brahmanditha Ardian and Theresia Avila Citra Ananda, who shared valuable insights and strategies for building a strong professional career. The event attracted hundreds of students and alumni from various faculties, all actively engaging throughout the session. Participants expressed their enthusiasm, with one noting, 淚 now understand how to develop a personal brand that feels authentic and effective.
Building strong personal brand with Brahmanditha Ardian
Brahmanditha Ardian, HR Manager at Damessa Family Dental Care and Senior HRBP & ODPD at Stockbit & Bibit, offered practical guidance on crafting an impactful personal brand. With a career spanning major multinational companies such as Astra International, Sinarmas, and XL-Axiata, he underscored the importance of self-awareness as the foundation of professional growth. 淩ecognize your strengths and weaknesses, then highlight those strengths through your academic, organizational, and internship experiences, she explained. She encouraged participants to define a personal tagline and communicate their professional identity consistently. Ardian also stressed the importance of maintaining a professional image both online and offline. 淵our LinkedIn presence, communication skills, appearance, and even body language all contribute to how you are perceived, he said. He urged students to seek mentorship, expand their professional networks, and explore opportunities across industries to develop broader career perspectives.
Recruitment insights and career preparation from Theresia Avila Citra Ananda
The second session featured Theresia Avila Citra Ananda, Head of the Recruitment Department at PT Siloam International Hospitals Tbk., who discussed key aspects of the recruitment process攆rom crafting an effective CV to navigating interviews and onboarding. Drawing on her experience as a Recruitment Staff at Agung Sedayu Group and Recruitment Consultant at Archigee, she provided practical advice on interview preparation. 淏e well-prepared, research the company thoroughly, and demonstrate professionalism throughout the recruitment process, Ananda advised. She also highlighted the value of internships and professional certifications in enhancing one檚 portfolio and employability.
During the Q&A session, participants asked about interview strategies, career switching, and ways to build a standout portfolio. Ananda reminded attendees, 淓very setback is part of the learning curve. Use each experience to evaluate yourself and improve for future opportunities.
The webinar concluded with a challenge for participants to update their LinkedIn profiles to reflect their personal brand.
