UNAIR NEWS held a professor inauguration on Wednesday, December 20, 2023. A press conference was held on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at the Plenary Hall, Management Building, MERR-C Campus, UNAIR.
The newly inaugurated professors were from three faculties. From the , there are Prof. Dr. Afif Nurul Hidayati dr SPDVE SubspVen FINSDV FAADV, Prof. Dr. dr Roedi Irawan MKes SpA(K), and Prof. Dr. dr Erwin Astha Triyono SpPD KPTI FINASIM; Prof. Dr. Dra Ni Wayan Sartini MHum from the ; and Prof. (HC UA) Dr. Carina Citra Dewi Joe BSc MSc PhD from the .
UNAIR inaugurates 355 professors
The Vice Rector for Academic, Student, and Alumni Affairs Prof. Dr. Bambang Sektiari Lukiswanto DEA DVM, representing the Rector, stated that the current count of Professors at UNAIR has reached a total of 355 individuals.
淭he newly inaugurated professors boost our spirit to achieve UNAIR檚 vision and mission. We aim to provide optimal benefits and significant impact for the community and the nation, he said.
He hoped that the community issues could be resolved with more solution-oriented approaches. These approaches are taken from various innovative programs initiated by the professors.
淣o problem can be solved by a single field of study alone; instead, we need collaborative and integrated programs, Prof. Bambang said.
A collaborative and innovative problem-solving
With the addition of new professors at UNAIR, the university can develop more rapidly, especially in extending its influence across various fields, both in academia and in gaining global recognition.
