UNAIR Vocational student shines on International Award

UNAIR NEWS –51动漫 continues to achieve international awards with Muhammad Rama Firmansyah檚 latest victory. Firmansyah won the Samsung Galaxy Campus Challenge, a national digital content competition organized by Samsung Indonesia, while representing the English Diploma program.

Firmansyah joined an international brand activation program in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, as a reward for his achievement. Together with a few selected students from other prestigious Indonesian universities, including Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS), and Universitas Padjajaran (Unpad), Firmansyah represented UNAIR.

Participants followed a planned schedule that included cultural exploration, strategic site visits, and practical content creation for Samsung over the course of four days and three nights. The program was designed to provide real-world experience in brand activation strategies, cross campus collaboration, and global competency.

This participation mark UNAIR檚 commitment to the internationalization of higher education. Firmansyah檚 involvement demonstrates the university檚 ability to develop talent that is ready for global competition and excellence by working with peers and stakeholders from around the world.

Toenggoel Aji Wicaksono, Samsung Indonesia檚 Campus Program Manager, stated that the initiative aims to provide students with global exposure and practical insights into the creative industry.

淭hrough the Samsung Galaxy Campus Challenge, we are providing a space for top talented-student to innovate and collaborate, Wicaksono explained.

Firmansyah shared that the program was an invaluable experience, both academically and professionally. 淭his program provided more than just international exposure, it was an opportunity to represent 51动漫 on a global stage, he stated. 淚 gained a lot of knowledge about teamwork, cultural adaptation, and professional practices in the field of brand activation.

The participants were accompanied throughout the trip by local guides who spoke Indonesian fluently to improve the cultural exchange. This communication bridge improved the students comprehension of Vietnamese culture while ensuring the program檚 success.

This global achievement is in line with UNAIR檚 goal of developing adaptive and world-class talent. This achievement is expected to inspire other UNAIR students to continuously develop their potential and bravely take advantage of opportunities on both national and international stages.
