UNAIR NEWS – Celebrating Ramadhan with DAI (SERAMBI) is an activity carried out by Department of Islamic Religion (DAI) BEM FKM UNAIR in welcoming ramadhan. This year, the theme was Bring Our Ramadhan Spirit Back.
Ahmad Andriansyah, the person in charge of the activity explained that students will be more excited during Ramadan.
“Occasionally, students are not even excited because sometimes they get hungry and tired. Therefore, we held SERAMBI activity to foster enthusiasm from all students to welcome the month of blessing and giving.”explained the student who was familiarly called Andri.
At least, there were six main activities from SERAMBI. Namely study 5 times, musabaqah SERAMBI, takjil, mabit and sahur on the road, khotmil quran and thirty days of storytelling.
Meanwhile, the grand opening was held on Thursday, May 2 in RK 4. Attended by Ustadz Aditya Abdurrahman presented material about Ramadan Starter Pack and enlivened by acapella nasyid performances from UKM SR.
In the end, the committee gave SERAMBI participants the opportunity to attach their ramadhan target this year in activity banner. Hopefully, participants will be more eager to reach the target. Besides, Andri advised all FKM UNAIR students and academics not to waste this blessing month.
In addition, Hario Megatsari, S.KM., M.Kes, or commonly called Fisto, as DAI supervisor was there. In his remarks, Fisto hoped with SERAMBI grand opening, at least it could charge students’ faith in order to be able to practice fasting to the fullest.
“Alhamdulillah, we can recharge our faith and prepare for ramadhan. Hopefully it can be a blessing for all of us untill the end of Ramadan, thus we can be better person.” said Fisto. (*)
