UNAIR NEWS– “Working sincerely andletting go to God檚 hand, because we know force will only bring despair.” That is the motivation of delegation in Agribusiness Business Plan Competition(ABPC) 2018 organized by Faculty of Agriculture, University of Padjadjaran (UNPAD) Bandung in November , from Thursday to Saturday (22-24 November).
Five students from Faculty of Law (FH) and Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) won three trophies at once.The five students are Soffan Fajar I, FH 2016;Iswandi Zulkarnain, Development Economics 2017;M. Izzul Ishlah, Management 2017;Ilham Haqiqie, FH 2016;Komari Aldiansyah FH 2017.
Soffan explained, the theme raised for thebusiness plancompetitionwas ”Disruptive Agribusiness in Era 4.0“.The theme was chosen so that the participants could plan a business that empowers farmers and farmers with disruption issues, business competition that shifted towards technology due to the industrial revolution 4.0.
“Regarding the preparation, the team has a special preparation agenda,” he said.
“Honestly we have had an idea from a long time ago so the preparation we made was around two months because we had to research the types of businesses already existed.Of course, it contains every expected element of this competition, “he added.
Soffan emphasized that the team members continue to practice byreschedulingnon-prioritized activities with the spirit of becoming winners despite people doubts.
The Business Plan Competition was chosen, said Soffan, because his team had a mature concept, by carrying out the application and creating aprototype.In his position, the team was assisted by students of the Surabaya Institute of Technology (ITS).The UNAIR delegation gave the name of the team “Team King Farm”.
Inevitably, Team King Farm won first place in ABPC 2018,Super Stunning(answering jury questions well), andSuper Outstanding achieved by Soffan.“What is important is relations.Because, every element is needed to support an idea, “he emphasized.
Of course in the race, there are obstacles faced by the team especially about funding.The team also sought donations from various banks, but there were no results.
“Then, we tried Faculty of Law.Alhamdulillah,FH wants to finance us up to 100 percent with conditions, “said Soffan.
“Finally we tried and could prove success with various trophies,” he said.
To other students, Soffan gave a few tips about the success of his team to win at Unpad.College students, including young people, are required toupgradeabilities in cluding cultivating a sense of curiosity and learning anything.
